And people pretend to believe in you, and say you can definitely do it, but really they think you'll get over it and let the idea pass. It's even worse when you do eventually give up, because no one gives you any real support.

For a while after that, life's really depressing, you feel like you let yourself down.

Let's face it.

You did.

The people who don't believe you can accomplish whatever you want, don't mean anything.

Don't think of it as an excuse to give up, think of it as a drive to move forward. Just to see the looks on their faces when you do the impossible.

It was never impossible.

You just needed to open your eyes.

Don't give up for anyone.

Part I- Lost and Found

I felt like a kitten stumbling around pathetically in a filthy cardboard box. You know, the ones they give away for free in front of super markets? My situation was only slightly different, though old to me.

I was sitting on a grimy old chair in a hospital waiting room. The stiff atmosphere was giving me a sour neck, and my legs were aching from sitting so long. But Mrs. Howard said I needed to make a good impression on my new foster parent, so she reminded me to sit up straight and smooth my hair about six times every minute. I longed to punch her in the nose, or yank one of her long grey braids. She was sitting next to me, as she had been for at least an hour.

I really loathed foster parents, although this time it would be only one parent. Mrs. Howard had told me all about her. Her name was Samantha Mason, she was a writer and twenty two-years old. She was also very, very late. Ms. Mason was supposed to have picked me up an hour ago, this seemed to thoroughly annoy Mrs. Howard. Which did give me some pleasure...

Ink Pen Magic

So my wonderful mother Gnome, bought me an awesome ink pen! You know, the kind you have to dip in a little jar of ink. And I wrote a story with it. Please tell me you get it. I've had many disappointments so far.

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful young girl who lived in a blazing forest. Everyday, she went outside, and sang to the birds. Unfortunately, she had an awful singing voice, but the birds always sang back marvelously as they could. For they were always happy to see her. One day, while the girl was singing she heard a beautiful song bird, crowing in the forest. She had never heard such a beautiful sound. So she searched through the trees, seeking out the song bird. What she found, was a horribly ugly scavenger bird, with a bald head and grey feathers. She refused to believe that such a creature could make such a sound. "Eh!" She cried in disgrace, and kicked the ugly thing. It stopped singing, and stared up at her with sad eyes. She went back to her cottage, feeling disappointed. She began to sing, listening for the birds usual reply. But she heard nothing. The birds never sang to her again.

Gnome thinks it's to sad. Like I said, she doesn't understand. The idea is that the other birds are sticking up for the poor little scavenger. They don't let him down. I thought it was nice. Maybe it's just me though...

So, most of us know the history of Thanks Giving. It's the day that the Pilgrims and the Native Americans sat down and ate a feast together to declare peace or whatever. SURE.
But did you know that soon after this historical moment took place, the Pilgrims (A.K.A: The British settlers) completely betrayed the Indians. That's right. They attacked them for their land, and tried to kill them all off. Native Americans were kind and peaceful towards the settlers, and what do they get in return? War, and hatred, and ruthless pride!
So is that what Thanks Giving is all about? Stabbing your friends in the back? The facts are all there.

So anyway. I finished a book today. It's the second book in the Abarat series. They're... fascinating books. But (in my humble opinion) the author spends to much time describing every little thing, it takes away from the action of the story. Still good though.
Last Sunday, I went and saw the new motion picture Twilight. Which happens to be one of my favorite books of all time. Unfortunately, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn, really weren't all that great. But the first one was good at least. They're all pure romance of course, not really trashy though.
So yeah... I think that's all I have to say.
I'm actually procrastinating math homework by making this post...
But guess I'll go to my doom now.

I think one of the main reasons I love writing so much, is because it's easier to face than the real world. When I write, it's my world. And I can decide what happens (most of the time.)
Today, I woke up to my alarm, waited for my brother to get out of the shower so I could use the bathroom, at breakfast, went to school, came home, complained, found out that (once again) none of my friends had emailed me, then eat dinner, take shower, do homework, set alarm, go to bed.
And that's pretty much my life story. It's not really much different on the weekends, just take out the school part and add, 'sit around being bored.'
Or that's how my life would be if I didn't have writing.

The frog.You're probably wondering

how this frog could be annoying. I'll tell you. So I'm upstairs in my room, just writing the major conflicts of one of my stories, my hand keeps slipping cuz I'm writing to fast, it's getting so intense and.... raaaaaaaa raaaaaaaaaaaaaa raaaaaaaaaaaaaa raaaaaaaaaaaa raaaaaaaaaaaa raaaaaaaaaaaaa. The frog goes off down stairs. AND IT DOESN'T STOP TILL I GO DOWN! It's usually my brother calling me down for dinner. And let me tell you! It can ruin a climax scene.

The piano lessons.

Almost same scenario as the frog. Except I'M USUALLY ALL COZY IN BED WHEN MY MOM SAYS "Grandma's coming over for piano! Get up!"
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I mean, playing piano is actually pretty fun. BUT AT 7:00 IN THE MORNING! ... I think you get the idea.

I really love playing the trumpet.
It's one of my favorite things.
I don't mind practicing on it either.
BUT I DO MIND HAVING TO WRITE DOWN WHAT I PRACTICED, HOW LONG I PRACTICED IT! AND WHAT MY GOALS ARE FOR THE WEEK!!!!!

Okay. So new update. I am at the moment working on three stories. One of them is my school short story (lame) it only has to be 5 pages thank goodness. But I couldn't really think of an appropriate topic so it's about rainbow people... well no. Not really about rainbow people. Just about some girls that go looking for gold at the end of a rainbow... then a leprechaun comes.... hmmmm...

So anyway. Yeah. I'm almost done with that one. The other one is about a reaper... you know like a grim reaper. Except in my book they're like a species... so yeah. He has to help these people go save the elven princess... then he finds out that his old "true love" (who he left 10,000 years ago due to betrayal) lives at the castle they're going to.... it's really confusing. But Ninja Amaz likes it so whatever. It's 120 pages... hand written not typed. And I'm almost done with it.

So the last book I'm working on is about some orphan girl who lives with foster parents... I haven't gotten very far with her. It's only like 30 pages of something. So yeah.....

Oh and I finished a book a while ago about a girl who discovers her best friend is a weird griffin creature and her brother goes into a coma and everyone goes crazy... it's one of those stories where basically everyone dies in the end. Except the brother. He wakes up... it ended with about 105 pages.

So I think that's all I have to report... unless you want to talk about the weather. It snowed yesterday. But then it rained.... fascinating I know. I'll update again... soon.

Gnome has me on this new blood type diet. I'm a type A+. I'm also a vegetarian. So that worked out nicely. Because type A isn't supposed to eat a lot of meat. Pretty cool. Yup... First one's called Alosha second one is called The Shaktra third one is called The Yanti and the forth on isn't out yet. But it's called Nemi. I'm almost done with The Yanti.

Just Like Magic isn't exactly making progress. I'm still waiting for Xenon to finish reading it.... he's been on the second chapter for a few weeks. So I'm starting a new book to pass the time. I was thinking about starting the second Just Like Magic. But I decided not to. I already know the storyline the second one is going to follow. Ninja Amaz helped me a lot with it. Ninja Amaz is my friend. She did have a blog, but she forgot her password.

You know what bothers me?! I'll tell you what bothers me. When you spend two years on a book, a book that you want to get published! AND. NO. ONE. WILL. READ. IT!!!
I mean REALLY! This is my family I'm talking about! It's only ninety five pages! It's not THAT long. See how much money I loan them when I'm rich and famous....
Just Like Magic: Apparently the most boring book in the world. I mean, even if I don't like a book, I usually read it twice. I CAN'T GET MY BROTHER TO READ THIS SHORT BOOK, ONCE!!! By the way. My brother is Xenon. He does the zproject blog. It's on my blog list. Which speaking of: needs a new post. Well I suppose that's all the complaining I'll do today.
